Factories get stuck across a pile of separate spreadsheets. Physical stock does not match the records, cost of goods is only an estimate, and materials nearing expiry slip past unnoticed. Production decisions end up being made without accurate data, and margins erode quietly.
Solution
We brought the entire production flow into one system. Purchasing runs through a clear approval path, stock uses the FEFO method so older materials are consumed first, and product formulas are recorded properly along with their composition. Cost of goods is calculated automatically per batch from the lot prices actually used, so production costs show up exactly as they are.
